About the role
We are seeking a high‑caliber Native Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team in Cork. The role is contract‑based and focuses on building modern, scalable applications using a 100% Kotlin stack and a declarative UI approach.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive, responsive UIs with Jetpack Compose.
- Develop reactive business logic using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
- Maintain and evolve MVVM/MVI architecture across a multi‑module project.
- Implement offline‑first data handling with Room or SQLDelight.
- Ensure high code quality and test coverage with JUnit, MockK, and Compose UI Testing.
- Provide expert code reviews and technical documentation.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong portfolio of native Android applications.
- Deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android Jetpack libraries.
- Proven ability to work independently as a contractor.
