Catering Assistant – Hospital Support Services

About the role

Join the Support Services team in the catering department at Stratheden Hospital. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for food service and support kitchen operations, food preparation, and dining room service for staff, patients, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the catering area.
• Assist with duties in the main kitchen as required.
• Perform basic food preparation tasks.
• Serve meals to staff, patients, and visitors in the dining room.

Required profile

• Up‑to‑date Food Hygiene Certificate (advantageous but training provided).
• Previous experience in a large‑scale catering environment is beneficial.
• Availability to work 11 am – 3 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Food Hygiene certification.
• Basic food preparation.
