Construction Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar and battery storage, across Ireland. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle from development and planning through design input, site execution, commissioning and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance during the construction phase.
• Act as the client’s on‑site representative throughout construction delivery.
• Manage construction risk, contractor performance and quality control.
• Support administration of construction contracts, variations and claims.
• Coordinate with grid operators, local authorities and landowners.
• Monitor planning and environmental compliance throughout construction.
• Provide regular progress, cost and risk reporting.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years post‑graduate experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale civil or construction projects in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations, claims and extensions of time.
• Commercial acumen for budget control and cost management.
