Construction Planner – Dublin Based

About the role

Join a leading construction contractor in Dublin as a Construction Planner. You will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of building projects across Leinster, managing programmes from pre‑construction through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and monitor project programmes for commercial, residential, healthcare and other sectors.
• Prepare tender programmes and update live project schedules.
• Identify potential delays, propose mitigation strategies and support Extension of Time (EoT) claims.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, commercial staff and external stakeholders to provide accurate planning information.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure alignment with schedule.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of general construction experience with a proven track record across multiple sectors.
• Background in engineering or construction management, having migrated to planning & scheduling.
• Experience as a planner within a main contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of general building projects, including commercial, residential or mixed‑use.
