Consultant Psychiatrist – Full‑time (Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking an IMC‑registered Consultant Psychiatrist to join an innovative mental health service in Ireland. This full‑time role offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team that values depth, curiosity and inclusive, person‑centred care for adults with complex mental health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop clear diagnostic formulations.
• Prioritise care based on urgency and complexity, applying sound clinical judgement.
• Manage clinical risk, including crisis response and safeguarding procedures.
• Prescribe and monitor treatments, ensuring efficacy and safety.
• Provide specialist input for complex presentations and develop tailored treatment pathways.

Required profile

• Full IMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Specialism in CAMHS or General Adult psychiatry.
• At least 6 months experience working with ADHD or ASD.
• Expertise in general adult psychiatry with interest in neurodiversity, complex trauma or intersectional mental health.
