About the role
We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our retail shop in Dublin City Centre. You will deliver a friendly, knowledgeable experience to customers while supporting the Shop Manager in day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily shop operations.
- Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Manage cash, accept and process bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
- Maintain high shop presentation standards and compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to multi‑channel and digital offerings.
- Step in to lead the team in the absence of managers, handling staff guidance and operational decisions.
Required profile
- Customer‑service focused with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Trustworthy, adaptable and able to work 7 days a week.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
- Enthusiastic people‑person who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in the sporting industry and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ambitious, results‑driven and eager to progress within the company.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
- Reliable, dependable and able to stay calm under pressure.
