Design Coordinator – Pre‑Construction Design

About the role

We are seeking a Design Coordinator to join a leading Irish developer’s pre‑construction team. You will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating and reviewing engineering designs, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and review engineering work throughout the pre‑construction phase.
• Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations and internal technical design processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder approvals at each project stage.
• Maintain accurate documentation, drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to resolve design issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in residential projects.
• Experience with Tier‑1 contractors or developers is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Irish building regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations.
