Director, Real Estate Delivery – EMEA/APAC

About the role

DePuy Synthes is seeking a senior leader to own end‑to‑end delivery of real‑estate transactions, projects and portfolio initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia‑Pacific. Reporting into the global real‑estate function, you will guide regional teams through complex regulatory environments, market dynamics and labour frameworks while aligning execution with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and close‑out of real‑estate acquisitions, disposals, leases and development projects across EMEA and APAC.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate the global real‑estate strategy into regional delivery plans.
• Manage regional delivery teams, ensuring consistent processes, risk mitigation and compliance with local regulations.
• Oversee portfolio optimisation initiatives, including space utilization, cost‑efficiency and sustainability targets.
• Coordinate with external advisors, consultants and government bodies to secure approvals and manage contractual negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in real‑estate delivery, transaction management or portfolio leadership within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, market and labour variations across EMEA and APAC.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
