Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑paced, commercially driven Irish company that is on a strong growth trajectory. The Finance Manager will lead forward planning, strategic analysis and commercial decision support, helping shape the organisation’s future and drive long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close, prepare management accounts, perform variance analysis and ensure statutory reporting compliance.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to underpin strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Build business cases, assess ROI and track post‑investment performance to drive accountability.
• Play a central role in long‑term planning, forecasting and performance optimisation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insightful reporting that influences decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in engineering or construction.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Confident communicator who can translate data into actionable insights.
