Freight Planner – Leixlip, Ireland

About the role

The Freight Planner will manage the end‑to‑end flow of shipments using the TMM ERP system, ensuring timely deliveries and returns for BOC Limited’s gas and chemical products in Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Track and complete shipments through the TMM ERP platform.
• Create and manage shipping line orders from OEM or consolidated gas/chemical points and keep the ERP data up to date.
• Schedule incoming deliveries and outgoing returns with the off‑site warehouse, ensuring compliance with agreements.
• Collaborate with the TMM Supply Chain Manager to highlight any supply‑chain delays.
• Handle all customs entries and coordinate with the delegated freight‑clearance provider.
• Serve as the primary contact for shipping line and consolidated warehouse activities on the assigned lane.
• Resolve supplier invoices related to freight activities.
• Monitor compliance and promptly raise any quality or safety concerns.
• Provide flexible support, including extended hours when required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a freight or logistics role.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms and customs procedures, particularly FCA.
• Experience with Harmonized Tariff codes or classifications.
• Qualification in Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, or Logistics Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula use.
• Experience in multi‑modal transport (road, air, sea).
