Group Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Dublin. The role supports the Group Financial Reporting Manager in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting across a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support consolidated management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Review and consolidate cash‑flow statements, converting local currencies to USD.
• Analyse and reconcile fixed assets and intangible assets.
• Perform actual‑vs‑budget analysis across entities and participate in budget reviews with local Financial Controllers.
• Manage and reconcile inter‑company transactions.
• Support board reporting and shareholder communications.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses in a fast‑paced environment.
• Review head‑office accounts and prepare audit packages for the annual audit (IAS & PCAOB standards).
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and corporation‑tax/deferred‑tax calculations.
• Consolidate tax reporting at group level and produce IFRS consolidated financial statements.
• Coordinate the external audit process.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Background in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 audit firm.
• Strong experience preparing IFRS financial statements and managing monthly and annual reporting cycles for multi‑entity, international accounts.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• FCCS (Financial Consolidation Cloud Service) – a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems.
