Head of Finance – Manufacturing (Westmeath)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing international manufacturing company based in Westmeath to recruit a Head of Finance. This senior position will lead the finance function, driving commercial insight and strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full financial reporting cycle, delivering accurate weekly, monthly and annual reports.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with clear analysis to support performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting obligations for the group.
• Manage treasury activities, including banking relationships, insurance, and foreign‑exchange risk.
• Lead the year‑end close, coordinate external audits and produce statutory accounts for all entities.

Required profile

• Qualified accounting professional with 6‑10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience managing finance teams.
• Background in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
