About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join a major heritage‑led construction and development project in County Clare. The role supports a high‑profile luxury hospitality upgrade and expansion programme, part of a wider masterplan to enhance a world‑class estate.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and site procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all site activities.
- Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective or preventative actions.
- Maintain accurate H&S documentation and reporting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Ability to work effectively on large‑scale, live construction environments.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification (desirable).
