Health & Safety Officer – County Clare

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join a major heritage‑led construction and development project in County Clare. The role supports a high‑profile luxury hospitality upgrade and expansion programme, part of a wider masterplan to enhance a world‑class estate.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and site procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all site activities.
• Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective or preventative actions.
• Maintain accurate H&S documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Ability to work effectively on large‑scale, live construction environments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification (desirable).
