About the role
The Diamond Coast Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a memorable stay for every guest.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest bedrooms and all public areas according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform deep‑cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis.
- Report any maintenance defects that could affect guest experience or safety.
- Provide in‑room amenities such as water, gifts, and fruit following hotel protocols.
- Ensure safe disposal of wet waste, glass, and recyclables.
- Operate housekeeping vehicles safely and maintain departmental equipment.
- Attend weekly briefings and communicate guest requests promptly.
Required profile
- Reliability and punctuality for shift duties.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
- Guest‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and attend briefings.
Required skills
- Operation of housekeeping equipment and vehicles.
