HR Business Partner – Employment Law Specialist

About the role
This 12‑month HR Business Partner role supports managers and employees across North Tipperary, providing expert advice on employment law and driving HR initiatives. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending 1‑2 days per week in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist guidance on employment law, agency employment law and HR best practices.
- Address employee concerns, manage grievances and conduct investigations.
- Support the HR Manager with change projects, process improvements and cultural initiatives.
- Assist in recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.
- Guide managers through performance reviews, goal setting and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programmes.
- Analyse HR metrics and deliver insights for strategic decisions.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, focusing on employee relations and talent management.
- Strong knowledge of employment and agency employment law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Full driver’s licence with access to a car and willingness to travel.
Required skills
- Proficiency in HR software.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
