HR & Compliance Executive – Food Manufacturing

About the role
The HR & Compliance Executive will support day‑to‑day HR operations and help ensure the business meets internal governance, ethical and regulatory standards. This position is ideal for an ambitious HR professional who enjoys a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and can balance operational and strategic HR matters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, inductions and off‑boarding.
- Maintain accurate employee files, HR records and systems; prepare contracts, letters and other documentation.
- Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, investigation and absence processes.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and company policies.
- Coordinate probation reviews, performance management and training programmes.
- Assist with payroll administration and employee benefits where required.
- Support compliance with SMETA, customer codes of practice and internal standards.
- Prepare for customer, ethical and regulatory audits and maintain related documentation.
- Coordinate corrective‑action follow‑up and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Promote a positive health, safety and food‑industry compliance culture.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, food production or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage employee‑relations issues confidentially and professionally.
- Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
