About the role
Aviva is seeking an IT Service Desk Administrator to deliver high‑quality customer experience and reliable, hands‑on IT support. Based onsite at our Dublin Cherrywood office (moving to One Park Place), you will ensure colleagues have the technology they need to perform at their best.
Key responsibilities
- Provide IT support to business users via phone, email, in person and through the ticketing system, resolving queries and fulfilling requests.
- Deliver on‑site support to executives and priority customers, including desk‑side and service‑bar assistance.
- Take ownership of incidents and requests through to resolution, escalating to third‑party teams when appropriate.
- Support hardware build, distribution and asset management, including ordering and recharge of non‑standard equipment.
- Ensure IT controls are followed and operate effectively, keeping risks within Aviva’s agreed tolerance levels.
Required profile
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Good understanding of IT support processes such as incident and request management.
- Solid organisational and time‑management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proactive, independent worker who uses initiative to solve problems.
