Logistics Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our delivery team in Maynooth. The role will lead the planning, coordination and execution of all site logistics for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring safe and timely movement of people, materials, plant and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement end‑to‑end project logistics plans from pre‑construction through handover.
• Coordinate deliveries, storage, handling and distribution of materials, plant and equipment, including crane and major equipment movements.
• Manage site access, traffic management plans, vehicle movements and pedestrian segregation.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and transport providers to optimise material flow and avoid site congestion.
• Oversee logistics personnel and subcontractors, maintain welfare, lay‑down and temporary facilities, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
• Conduct logistics risk assessments, produce method statements and lead coordination meetings and toolbox talks.
• Provide regular logistics reports, KPIs and progress updates to project and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics management experience, preferably on large construction or data‑centre projects.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, live construction environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
