Maintenance Assistant

About the role

This hands‑on position supports the Maintenance Manager in keeping the hotel and its grounds in excellent condition. You will be responsible for a wide range of repair and preventative tasks across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective equipment parts and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure building systems operate efficiently.
• Assemble, install and repair pipe systems, plumbing, and related equipment.
• Paint and repair roofs, gutters, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other building structures as required.

Required profile

• Qualification and/or extensive experience in plumbing, with a solid understanding of electrical, carpentry, boiler, generator and painting maintenance.
• At least two years of experience in plumbing and general building maintenance.
• Valid, clean driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently, follow written and oral directives, and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
