Part Qualified Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of accounting and commercial finance activities while you continue your professional exams. You will work closely with senior colleagues in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of month‑end management accounts.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Prepare accruals, pre‑payments and provisions.
• Support bank reconciliations and weekly cash reporting.
• Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and depreciation schedules.

Required profile

• Studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced).
• Experience with ERP or other finance systems.
