Part-time Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional for a flexible part‑time position as Financial Controller. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day finance operations, implementing best‑practice systems and controls, and delivering insightful information to influence business decisions as the company continues to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and year‑end financial reports, investigate variances and analyse overall results.
• Produce regular commercial reports for executive management, providing accurate and timely insights for strategic planning.
• Maintain a strong control environment during periods of growth and expansion.
• Lead operational finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Support strategies to drive revenue growth and improve cost efficiencies.
• Manage balance‑sheet health and working‑capital optimisation.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Excellent commercial acumen and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Organised, efficient and positive attitude.
