Part-time Graphic Novel Letterer (Comic Book)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time letterer to join our growing creative team and contribute to an ongoing graphic novel series. The role starts immediately and involves lettering two pages each week, following a pre‑defined pipeline that includes block‑out, pencilling, inking and coloring stages.

Key responsibilities

• Letter two comic pages per week, adhering to the provided panel layouts.
• Develop and expand the lettering style guide, adding creative touches that enhance the story.
• Collaborate with the 3D block‑out team to adjust framing and perspective for optimal flow.
• Make mutual adjustments with other artists to ensure seamless integration of lettering.

Required profile

• Formal design or graphic‑design education, or proven self‑taught lettering experience.
• Strong attention to detail – text must be centered, properly spaced and free of inconsistent fonts.
• Good aesthetic sense for fonts, bubble styles and special effects.
• Ability to place speech bubbles organically with clear anchoring and flow.

Required skills

• Lettering for comics, including bubble placement and typography.
• Understanding of panel composition and visual storytelling.
