Procurement Specialist – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Vertiv is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support its large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects across EMEA. The role focuses on securing steel construction materials and related services, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for construction and infrastructure initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts for critical commodities, especially steel raw materials and construction services.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement with project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to guarantee quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimise value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven negotiation and contract‑management track record.
• Strong understanding of costing principles and project cost management.
• Familiarity with international standards and global supply‑base management.
