Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our continuous manufacturing line in Kingscourt. The role involves overseeing CNC forming and assembly processes, ensuring smooth operations, and driving performance across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility and accountability for the running of continuous production lines, including CNC forming and assembly.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures and quality processes are rigorously followed to minimise customer complaints.
• Manage production within agreed financial budgets for labour, materials and overheads.
• Facilitate effective shift handovers, daily briefings and issue resolution.
• Maintain staffing levels, covering holidays and sickness without impacting production.
• Uphold discipline by enforcing company procedures and guidelines.
• Implement training programmes and performance assessments to develop the team’s skill base.

Required profile

• Proven experience in people management and supervising a continuous production line.
• Good mechanical aptitude with prior technical experience.
• Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach with the ability to lead a team to meet business goals.
