Project Manager – Biopharma (Cross‑Functional)

About the role

KPC International is seeking an experienced Project Manager with drug product or drug substance expertise to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced biopharma environment. The role is pivotal for delivering projects across multiple sites while aligning technical execution, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional, multi‑site teams to deliver and integrate key projects.
• Translate customer and business requirements into approved project scope statements.
• Collaborate with functional managers to define and quantify resource needs.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans to meet scope, schedule, and cost commitments.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, driving accountability and timely decisions.
• Establish and manage communication plans for clear information flow across stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Lead cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure adherence to financial plans.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and develop engagement strategies.
• Support GMP documentation activities, including change control processes (training on Waterford GMP systems provided).

Required profile

• Proven experience in the biopharma industry in a project or program leadership role.
• Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong track record in project/program management within drug substance or drug product environments.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) desirable.
• Solid working knowledge of cGMP and GLP regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
