Senior Accountant - South Dublin

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing Irish business based in South Dublin, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team on a permanent basis. The role will support the company’s post‑acquisition growth phase, providing broad exposure to all finance functions and partnering with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end reporting process for the assigned entity.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct KPI and cost analysis, and prepare board reports.
• Analyse monthly budget‑to‑actual variances.
• Drive process improvements and manage ad‑hoc finance projects.
• Partner with multiple internal teams to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 2‑5+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in an SME environment is preferred.
• Self‑starter, motivated and ambitious.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
