Senior Finance Transformation Analyst

About the role

Intapp is looking for a Senior Finance Transformation Analyst to modernize and scale its global accounting organization. The role partners with controllership, tax, procurement and finance teams to automate month‑end close, improve reporting, and drive data‑centric decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Automate month‑end close tasks (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting) using data automation and workflow tools.
• Conduct business analysis and stakeholder interviews to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Support finance transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability of financial data.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for transformation projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional accounting and finance teams to implement innovative solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Ensure initiatives maintain strong internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Apply US GAAP knowledge to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve financial data analysis and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a solid accounting background.
• Experience at a Big 4 firm or in a public‑company accounting function with SOX requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros.
• SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Alteryx and/or KNIME (or similar workflow automation tools).
• Tableau or comparable BI/data‑visualisation tools.
