Senior Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing organisation in Dublin to hire a Senior Human Resources Generalist. This hands‑on, highly visible role will act as the dedicated People partner for a dynamic, customer‑facing business area, managing complex employee relations matters and supporting operational leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and resolve employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and appeals.
• Coach managers on best practice, employment legislation and HR policy.
• Analyse ER trends and provide data‑driven insights to mitigate risk.
• Manage HR queries, absence cases and performance management processes.
• Maintain accurate HR data across systems and payroll.
• Support onboarding, critical‑role inductions and workforce planning.
• Deliver regular insights on attrition, retention, absence and engagement.
• Co‑create engagement plans and drive retention initiatives.
• Assist with recruitment for key roles and contribute to broader people programmes.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of HR experience with strong exposure to employee and industrial relations.
• Proven ability to manage complex ER cases independently.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation (qualification desirable).
• Experience in fast‑paced, operational environments.
• Highly analytical with a data‑driven mindset.
• Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable in a changing environment.
