About the role
The Senior Human Resources Manager will lead both strategic and day‑to‑day HR services for a workforce of over 700 employees across multiple sites in the South East. You will shape a positive workplace culture, partner with senior leaders, and ensure HR practices support business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing HR team, fostering collaboration and inclusion.
- Partner with site leadership to design and deliver HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Act as trusted advisor on performance, engagement, development and employee‑relations matters.
- Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and succession planning.
- Drive engagement initiatives such as surveys, focus groups and town‑hall events.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality and use HR analytics to inform decisions.
- Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years managing teams.
- Background in HR within a manufacturing or similar operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant HR certification (e.g., PHR, CIPD).
