Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Manager will lead both strategic and day‑to‑day HR services for a workforce of over 700 employees across multiple sites in the South East. You will shape a positive workplace culture, partner with senior leaders, and ensure HR practices support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing HR team, fostering collaboration and inclusion.
• Partner with site leadership to design and deliver HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Act as trusted advisor on performance, engagement, development and employee‑relations matters.
• Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and succession planning.
• Drive engagement initiatives such as surveys, focus groups and town‑hall events.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
• Maintain data integrity, confidentiality and use HR analytics to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years managing teams.
• Background in HR within a manufacturing or similar operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant HR certification (e.g., PHR, CIPD).
