Senior People Operations Specialist

About the role

This senior position is based in Ireland and operates within a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment. You will own end‑to‑end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, building structured, automated solutions that support a globally distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core HR processes from onboarding to off‑boarding, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support managers and employees with performance management, employee relations, and day‑to‑day HR needs.
• Coordinate with EOR providers and contractors in various European countries.
• Partner with Finance to handle contractor payments and payroll‑related workflows.
• Design, document and continuously improve scalable HR processes, replacing manual tasks with automation.
• Build and maintain People Operations tools and integrations with platforms such as HiBob, Notion, Slack and internal systems.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven opportunities to increase operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in a tech‑driven environment.
• Proven track record in startup or scale‑up settings, focusing on process building and improvement.
• Strong understanding of European employment frameworks, multi‑country workforce management and EOR models.
• Experience working in fully remote, async‑first teams.
• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy and a proactive ownership mindset.
