Senior Recruitment Consultant – Irish Healthcare Market

About the role

Remedium is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to launch and grow its Irish Healthcare desk. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue in a new market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Irish Healthcare recruitment desk from scratch.
• Design and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase market share.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with Trusts, the HSE, and private hospitals.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to refine recruitment approaches.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
• Leverage digital platforms and social media to attract candidates and promote the Remedium brand.
• Conduct on‑site client visits to deepen relationships and understand hiring needs.
• Mentor junior colleagues and shape the long‑term recruitment strategy for Ireland.

Required profile

• Proven success in healthcare recruitment, preferably within the Irish market.
• Strong business development and client‑relationship management abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to build new markets or desks independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Resilient, proactive, adaptable and solutions‑oriented.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercially minded with a focus on revenue growth.
