Senior Site Manager – Fit‑Out & Construction

About the role

We are a well‑established fit‑out and construction contractor seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead projects from set‑up through to handover across Leinster and Ulster sites. The role demands tight site control, programme drive and delivery of high‑quality finishes safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, logistics and subcontractor supervision.
• Drive the programme, coordinate trades and ensure milestones are met.
• Maintain high standards of quality and manage snagging through to close‑out.
• Lead site safety activities including inductions, RAMS, toolbox talks and compliance with safe systems of work.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and plant to avoid downtime.
• Keep accurate site records: daily diaries, progress updates, reports and photos.
• Liaise with Project Managers, design teams, clients and suppliers to resolve issues quickly.
• Manage short‑term look‑aheads and ensure readiness for upcoming works.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fit‑out and/or construction projects.
• Strong finishing background with a quality‑first approach.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety and site compliance (RAMS, permits, reporting).
• Ability to plan works, manage subcontractors and maintain momentum on fast‑track programmes.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid Safe Pass (SMSTS/SSSTS desirable).
