Staff Nurse (Full‑Time, Permanent)

About the role

Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join its permanent team. This full‑time position involves delivering person‑centred care to elderly residents, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
• Monitor and document residents' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medication and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care.
• Support residents in daily activities while encouraging autonomy.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum 1 year experience in elder‑care nursing (or willingness to start a new career path).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Clear Garda clearance and suitable character references.
• Legal right to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted work permit).
