Staff Nurse – Gerontology & Convalescence Care

About the role

Curam Care Homes is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our team delivering gerontological and convalescence care. You will provide holistic, person‑centred nursing to older residents, supporting their independence and quality of life within a supportive care‑home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in line with professional and ethical standards.
• Deliver holistic, person‑centred care that promotes optimum independence for residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide specialist services for older adults, dementia/Alzheimer’s patients, step‑down and convalescence care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Newly qualified or graduate nurses will be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in gerontological or dementia care is advantageous.
