Supervising Pharmacist – Castleknock

About the role

We are seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to lead our Castleknock pharmacy team. You will ensure the dispensary operates at the highest professional and legal standards while delivering a friendly, patient‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with PSI guidelines, pharmacy law, and McCabes best practices.
• Oversee safe, efficient dispensing and timely delivery of medicines.
• Provide vaccinations, health screenings, and patient counselling.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Manage monthly claims submissions to relevant payment boards.
• Uphold ethical standards, accuracy, and professionalism in all activities.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of qualified experience as a pharmacist.
• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and holding a PSI‑approved pharmacy qualification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PSI guidelines and Irish pharmacy legislation.
• Experience with dispensing operations and medication safety.
• Ability to conduct vaccinations and health screenings.
• Strong collaboration skills with healthcare providers.
