Backend Engineer - Wallets

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer focused on wallet infrastructure to help shape the future of decentralized finance. You will build secure, high‑performance services that power global digital‑asset solutions and collaborate with international teams in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust backend services for secure, scalable wallet operations.
• Build and optimise high‑throughput microservices handling real‑time transactions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver backend solutions aligned with product and business goals.
• Implement best‑practice security measures to protect user assets and system integrity.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve reliability, scalability and maintainability.
• Work with databases and distributed systems to ensure efficient data storage and synchronization.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues while identifying optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in backend development with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience building high‑availability platforms and working in Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills for remote, international collaboration.
