Chief Finance Officer (Self-Employed) – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance leader to join The CFO Centre on a self‑employed basis, delivering part‑time CFO services to ambitious private businesses in Dublin and beyond. You will work with owners, CEOs and managing directors to help them achieve growth, acquisitions and long‑term financial stability while enjoying the flexibility of building your own client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide part‑time CFO services to ambitious private businesses with turnover between £2 million and £50 million.
• Support owners, CEOs and managing directors in strategic finance decisions, growth, acquisitions and consolidations.
• Build and manage your own portfolio of clients, delivering tailored financial insight and advice.
• Collaborate with a global network of CFOs and work closely with a Regional Director in a collegial environment.

Required profile

• Qualified by a UK chartered accounting institute (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Director in mid‑size companies.
• Strong commercial finance and business‑strategy expertise with a track record of success.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a self‑starter, “can‑do” attitude.
