Launch Excellence Leader (Associate Director)

About the role

The Launch Excellence Leader will drive cross‑site, cross‑functional transformation within the GBO Network Launch Readiness organization. Based at the state‑of‑the‑art Dunboyne biologics facility, the role focuses on improving processes that enable effective New Product Introduction (NPI) and Receiving Unit (RU) readiness across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver measurable improvements to NPI and RU readiness processes using defined KPIs and performance indicators.
• Lead cross‑functional sub‑teams to advance prioritized improvement initiatives and embed best practices.
• Apply MPS problem‑solving techniques (root‑cause analysis, A3, PDCA, Kaizen) to resolve complex launch challenges.
• Translate lessons learned into updated procedures, standards, and schedule blocks.
• Represent launch excellence activities in site leadership and GBO governance meetings.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills in a matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to influence across organizational levels and drive change.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and project‑management capabilities.
• Solid business acumen with experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing, GMP, and launch readiness.
• Minimum 8 years in pharma/biotech manufacturing, including 4 years of leadership.
