Learning Media Developer, Data Center Learning

About the role

As a Learning Media Developer you will create engaging, high‑quality learning experiences that support Amazon’s global data‑center workforce from onboarding through career development. This full‑time office position blends instructional design with multimedia production to deliver effective training solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Instructional Designers, SMEs and Program Managers to turn learning designs into polished media assets.
• Produce motion graphics, explainer videos, interactive e‑learning modules, infographics, illustrations and animated simulations.
• Manage the entire media pipeline: storyboarding, shooting, editing, audio production, animation and final delivery optimized for web and LMS platforms.
• Apply visual‑design principles (typography, colour theory, layout, accessibility) for a diverse global audience.
• Develop web‑based learning experiences using authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate) and front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) when needed.
• Use learner analytics, feedback and A/B testing to continuously improve media quality.
• Maintain the media asset library, templates and style guides to ensure visual consistency.
• Leverage AI‑assisted creative tools (generative imagery, automated captioning, AI video editing) to accelerate production.

Required profile

• Strong collaboration skills to work with instructional teams, SMEs and validation groups.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet sprint commitments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accessibility and visual consistency.
• Proactive attitude toward exploring new tools and refining production workflows.
