Motor Claims Handler (Hybrid) – Wexford

About the role

Zurich Insurance’s Centre of Excellence in Wexford is expanding its Claims Team and seeks a motivated Motor Claims Handler to manage motor damage claims on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of material damage motor claims.
• Driving cases to timely and accurate resolution while ensuring customer service and compliance.
• Maintaining relationships with first and third‑party claimants, brokers and internal teams.
• Utilising telematics technology to improve outcomes and adhering to Zurich’s claims standards.
• Ensuring compliance with the Minimum Competency Code and Consumer Protection Code.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 Grade C3/H5 Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) or FETAC Level 6 Diploma.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced technical claims competence for moderate to high complexity motor damage claims.
• Proficiency with industry‑leading telematics tools.
• Strong IT skills for handling claim systems and documentation.
• Advanced IT proficiency with claim management platforms.
