Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a trusted financial services organization. You will focus on enhancing and extending AWS Landing Zones, ensuring they meet evolving business, security, and regulatory requirements while delivering scalable, high‑performance cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enhancements to AWS Landing Zones, including Control Tower, Organizations, and multi‑account configurations.
• Develop new security, compliance, and scalability features using Service Control Policies, IAM roles, and permissions boundaries.
• Automate governance, improve platform integration, and optimize account scalability.
• Modernize infrastructure to align with industry standards and financial regulations.
• Create modular, reusable IaC templates with AWS CloudFormation and native DevOps tooling.
• Deploy scalable solutions that integrate cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Apply zero‑trust and secure development practices across the Landing Zone architecture.
• Use SRE principles to boost reliability, scalability, and performance, including observability with CloudWatch, X‑Ray, and Grafana.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents, reducing manual toil through automation.
• Document enhancements, security configurations, and technical roadmaps for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience with AWS Landing Zones, Control Tower, and multi‑account environments.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, cloud operations, and business stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience applying SRE practices and building observability pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on automation.
