About the role
You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a busy retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to keep the store running smoothly. The role combines front‑of‑house service, cash handling and occasional shop‑management duties.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
- Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Manage cash, process bets and transactions via EPOS and betting terminals.
- Maintain high presentation standards and compliance with safety and social‑responsibility policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to in‑shop and online offerings.
- Step in to lead the team in the absence of senior managers.
Required profile
- Customer‑service focused with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible to work a 7‑day schedule and adapt to a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in the sporting industry and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ambitious and driven to progress within the company.
Required skills
- Proficiency with EPOS systems.
- Cash‑handling procedures.
