HR & Payroll Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an HR & Payroll Generalist to join a North Dublin corporate hub. Reporting to the HR Leader Ireland, you will partner with business functions to deliver high‑quality HR services across the employee lifecycle and oversee three‑monthly payroll cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations for approximately 320 salaried employees, coordinating end‑to‑end payroll activities across three monthly cycles with an outsourced provider.
• Prepare, validate and reconcile payroll inputs such as hires, terminations, compensation changes and leave data.
• Review payroll reports for accuracy, obtain approvals and ensure timely processing.
• Manage the day‑to‑day relationship with the payroll provider, resolving issues and maintaining service quality.
• Partner with Finance and HR to ensure accurate reporting, compliance and audit readiness.
• Act as primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, performance, attendance and employee relations.
• Support talent acquisition and onboarding, coordinating interview logistics, offers and new‑hire processes.
• Maintain employee data integrity in Workday, UKG and other HR systems.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to accuracy, process excellence and data integrity.
• Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Subject‑matter expertise in payroll administration; audit experience is a plus.
• Ability to influence the local people agenda as a member of the site leadership team.
