O&M Site Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

The O&M Site Manager will lead the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) plants in Ireland, ensuring high performance, safety, and contractual compliance. You will manage resources, coordinate technical teams, and act as the primary interface with clients and grid operators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all resources for the assigned PV sites, coordinating maintenance activities to meet contract commitments.
• Ensure full compliance with scope of works, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks alongside field technicians.
• Evaluate and propose retrofits, revamps, and improvements for plant performance.
• Oversee guarantee management with suppliers and ensure proper use of O&M software tools.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities.
• Interface with grid operators and local stakeholders for O&M implementation.
• Provide emergency support and participate in commissioning of new contracts.
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.

Required profile

• Engineering background with extensive experience in solar PV O&M.
• Proven ability to manage technical teams and coordinate large‑scale maintenance programs.
• Hands‑on expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing PV system failures.
• Strong knowledge of retrofit, revamping, and improvement processes for solar plants.
• Familiarity with guarantee management and supplier liaison.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
