Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Identity Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a national, high‑impact identity‑management programme within the Irish healthcare system. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will drive strategic initiatives aligned with the Digital for Care strategy over a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a major change‑management project, ensuring completion within the 12‑month timeframe.
• Provide strategic direction, develop comprehensive project plans, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Coordinate a diverse group of clinical, operational, technical and governance stakeholders to secure alignment and engagement.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, maintaining project timelines and regulatory compliance.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in project‑management processes.
• Manage resources efficiently to achieve project goals within allocated time and budget.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proven experience managing multiple work streams and stakeholder groups in a complex environment.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland at the time of application.
