Castle Manager

About the role

The Castle Manager will be the heart of a brand‑new luxury historic castle in Ireland’s Midlands, delivering ultra‑personalised experiences for private clientele. This senior position blends hospitality leadership, guest interaction and heritage stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across accommodation, dining, grounds and events.
• Be present at pivotal guest moments, from arrival to departure.
• Lead pre‑arrival guest profiling and design bespoke journeys.
• Maintain immaculate presentation and operational standards.
• Recruit, coach and develop a small, cross‑trained elite team.
• Build relationships with luxury travel advisors and local partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of senior leadership in ultra‑luxury hospitality, preferably in castles, country houses or boutique properties.
• Strong emotional intelligence, discretion and calm under pressure.
• Experience with Forbes 5‑Star, LQA or Michelin 3‑Key standards is a plus.
• Background in pre‑opening or exclusive‑use venues is advantageous.
