Castle Host – Hospitality Roles at Luxury Irish Castle

About the role

The Castle Host role sits at the heart of the guest experience in a new luxury castle property in the Irish Midlands. Hosts are placed in key departments – food & beverage, reception, rooms, or overnight services – according to their background, and are responsible for delivering warm, polished hospitality across every guest touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard service in the assigned department (e.g., serving, bartending, front‑of‑house, housekeeping, night‑portering).
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate and well‑maintained.
• Assist guests with check‑in, enquiries, and special requests, providing a personalised experience.
• Maintain brand standards and attention to detail in all communications and presentations.
• Collaborate with other Castle Hosts to create seamless, memorable guest journeys.
• For Night Porter roles, manage overnight guest needs independently, discreetly, and calmly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hospitality environment such as hotel, restaurant, bar, or similar.
• Professional, warm and confident presentation.
• Strong eye for detail in communication, appearance and service delivery.
• Team‑player mindset focused on collective guest satisfaction.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑standard, dynamic setting where no two days are the same.
• Night Porter applicants comfortable working alone overnight.
