Childcare Practitioner – Outdoor Nature Kindergarten

About the role

Park Academy is seeking a passionate Full‑time Early Years Educator to join Ireland’s first outdoor Nature Kindergarten in Bray, Co. Wicklow. You will work in a forest‑based setting, delivering high‑quality childcare while encouraging children’s connection with nature.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise nature‑based play and outdoor learning activities.
• Manage outdoor risks and ensure a safe environment.
• Report concerns to the team leader/manager and cooperate with TUSLA Early Years Inspectors.
• Participate in themed days and contribute new ideas for child‑centred learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child’s day.

Required profile

• Degree or recognised qualification in Childcare or a related discipline (minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5).
• Eligibility to work full‑time in Ireland.
• Garda vetting and, if applicable, international police clearance.
• Genuine passion for early years education, creativity, teamwork and ambition.
