Cloud DevOps Engineer Technical Mentor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our global online learning community as a Technical Mentor. You will guide learners through advanced cloud and DevOps concepts, help them complete real‑world projects, and foster a collaborative environment for continuous skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized 1:1 mentoring sessions covering technical questions, coursework, and cloud engineering projects.
• Review learner submissions and provide constructive feedback before mentoring sessions.
• Lead deep‑dive technical sessions on AWS services, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure best practices.
• Prepare and present educational materials such as slide decks and practical examples.
• Conduct project walkthroughs, explain evaluation criteria, and share successful implementation approaches.
• Host group Q&A sessions via video conferencing or collaboration platforms.
• Support learners in troubleshooting, automation, and designing scalable cloud architectures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk).
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, networking, autoscaling, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and monitoring solutions such as Amazon CloudWatch.
• Passion for mentoring, coaching, and helping others grow technically.
