Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong AWS experience to join our growing team. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining secure cloud environments, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our data and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build resilient cloud infrastructures protected against security threats.
• Develop and assess cloud security solutions for systems, databases and networks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, monitor logs and analyse security incidents.
• Shape and maintain security policies, procedures and standards for cloud environments.
• Create technical and managerial security reports for cloud‑based applications and infrastructure.
• Implement and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor sensitive data usage and regulate access to safeguard information.
• Review security violations and work with stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
• Provide end‑user support for network and security‑related issues.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in information security with a focus on cloud security.
• Ability to work autonomously and integrate well within a team.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• AWS (IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF).
• Microsoft Azure (knowledge considered an advantage).
• Oracle Cloud (knowledge considered an advantage).
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• DevSecOps methodologies.
• Container security.
